Clearwater Beach is connected to the mainland in three sections, Sand Key, the Clearwater Pass Bridge and the Memorial Causeway Bridge. Tampa is twenty miles to the east and St. Petersburg is approximately twenty miles to the south, forming the third section of this triad is Clearwater.

By Air: Tampa International Airport is a short 30 minute drive from Clearwater. To reach Clearwater, take State Road 60 west upon exiting the airport. St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport is within 20 minutes of downtown Clearwater and the beaches. Clearwater is an easy five hour drive from Miami International Airport and a 90 minute drive from the Orlando International Airport. Rental cars are available at both airports.

By Auto: Interstate 75 carries visitors from the northern states directly to the Tampa Bay area. Interstate 95 connects to Florida through the panhandle from Alabama and connects to I-75 through I-10. I-75 connects to I-275 and then you will begin to the signs for State Road 60 which leads to the Courtney Campbell Causeway which brings you into Clearwater after crossing Tampa Bay. Courtney Campbell will lead you directly to Clearwater Beach via the Memorial Causeway.
